URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL OUR STAKEHOLDERS
INVITATION TO EMPLOYERS IN THE ENERGY AND WATER SECTORS
TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS/PROPOSALS FOR FUNDING, 2010/11 FINANCIAL YEAR
The Energy SETA (ESETA) is a public entity established in terms of the provisions of the Skills Development Act 1998 (No. 97 of 1998 as amended) and its current operational mandate is informed by the National Skills Development Strategy II (as extended to March 2011) with special focus to the Energy and Water economic sectors.
ESETA hereby invites all employers within the sectors mentioned above to apply for funding in the following learning programmes:
- ABET
- On-the-job training (Experiential learning/Internship)
- New Venture Creation (NVC)
- Accelerated Artisan Development
- Bursaries
Applications/proposals should be hand delivered or couriered to ESETA Offices to the attention of Ms Beatrice Cader.

NOTE: All applications/proposals should reach ESETA offices by 12H00 pm on Wednesday, 31st, March 2010. No late submissions, faxed or e-mailed applications/proposals will be entertained.
The ESETA Funding Policy will apply and only the ESETA Board has the sole right to approve/decline applications/proposals or to withdraw this invitation.
During the financial Year 2010 – 2011, all employers wishing to indenture learners in APPRENTICESHIPS must firstly apply for the approval of the Discretionary Grants and after those Grants are approved, is then that training can start and this will be followed by payments by ESETA.
Please note that the Funding Window for this is still open until April 2010.
